It is my special girl's birthday , she is the most wonderful person you'll ever meet.

I know, problems got in the way of our friendship sometimes,
but i knew our friendship could prevail over all these circumstances.

you know i was cleaning out my things and i found my year 10 school diary.

we got that , "no you hang" up kinda love.

the past few days, i've been surrounded by adult couples.
their mannerisms are quite different to teenagers.


Adults don't mind bringing up past relationships at the dinner table.

Hubby : (talking to japanese lady) Yes, i used to live in Japan for about 9 months.

Wife : He met a japanese woman there, he was gonna marry her.

Jap : Oh really, what happened ?

Hubby : It didn't work out.

Wife : Tell them more about her.

Hubby: (awkward pause) I don't wanna say too much or i might be sleeping on the couch.

Everyone laughs.

Teenagers, especially girls mind when you bring up past relationships.

i think jealousy is just an emotion to show how much we care about you :P

Adults don't feel the need for PDA.

They keep is strictly PG 13+

Teens aren't as self-conscious when it comes to PDA.

Adults are professional, long-term romantics, they've grown up with personal experiences and innovation to know how to sweep each other off their feet.

there's this old man who loved his wife very much and every week since they were married he would buy her a bouquet of flowers. Even after her passing, he still buys it for her. What a romantic :)

Teens suffer from infatuation and inexperience, and girls have a high standard set from movies and dramas, which are quite unrealistic at times.

girls really imagine this as a dream date.

Guys imagine this as a dream date.

REGARDLESS of the differences.

Everything happens for a reason

Do you find that things you plan don't always go as expected ?

Like yesterday for instance, i overslept and missed my friend's birthday dinner.
We were supposed to get there at 6:30 and i fell asleep at 6 and woke up at 10:30
( the next morning ). i know, fail whale right?
Today wasn't any better.
I was planning to go top ryde, cause i was epic craving oporto chips.
BUT, i missed the bus by 8minutes and the next bus came in an hour later.
Then we decided to go to Chatty and we missed the train by 1minute.
My timing was so off today, I think it was cause of the extreme amount of sleep i got.

Faith: An institution to express belief in a divine power.

I went to KYCK, the past weekend.
and i've learnt a lot from that camp.
The thing that I realised was the phrase one of the speakers said :

" USE IT OR LOSE IT "

he was referring to a person's faith. 

It doesn't just improve on its own,

 it gradually dwindles. 

Faith is a shrinking process without action.

Frankly, sometimes you realise certain things that you didn't before.

It comes unexpectedly.

you realise..you can't always get rid of painful past experiences.

you realise .. you just made a fool of yourself.

you realise..parents have the ability to change their minds.

you realise..people have the ability to be a douche

you realise.. there's a positive outcome to every situation.

Realisation is a gift, keep being optimistic towards life.

A friend once told me a quote and i try to apply my life by it

"A person's success is not measured by how high they climb. 

Rather it is measured by how hard they bounce back

 when they hit rock bottom. "

once upon a fairytale

helpful insight to women.

i know a story of this girl who couldn't stop hurting inside
traumatic experiences maybe ? .. who knows.
well this is her story.


she always lived life with a guarded wall in front of her
because she was scared of what would happen when someone
would one day tear that wall down.
well, that day came when a boy stepped into her life.
he treated her with so much respect and guidance that her wall
started to crumble.. she started to smile again.
NOT those fake smiles that she always seemed to put on for show,
but to really smile, a genuine emotion.


BUT, she started to take him for granted,
which in turn made her lose him.
she somehow already saw this coming, but she 
still couldn't do anything to change it.
sleepless nights came her way, filled with tearful moments. 
she thought to herself 

" so this is how it feels .. to lose something that meant so much to you."

she decided to take a walk outside 
to calm her mind, and make sense of what had happened.
a police approached her asking if she was alright.
she wanted to just break out and just say 

"no, everything is not alright. i can't take feeling this way ..cause it's hurting so bad."

but who was she to do this to a stranger.
instead she said she was fine and the police drove off.


the only thing she could do to forget about him
was if he could tell her that he hated her and never wanted to talk to her again.
so she could get inside her head, that she wasn't wanted anymore.
she heard in his voice how hard it was for him to say,
to let go of someone so dear to her was the hardest part.
she just decided the best thing for her was to figure out things for herself,
to let go of him completely would be impossible.
she cared so much, she knew she had to let go.


the boy once mentioned that his mum told him not to ever make a girl cry.
BUT, the girl just wanted to say that the tears she shed wasn't cause 
of the boy hurting her in any way.
It was because she realised how wrong she has been to treat someone so good
to her like that, she realised what she had lost.


even though they part their own ways for now..
they know that their friendship can hold on.
she did promise him that she would always be there for him,
she still stands by her promise.
but for now as she still hurts , she must pretend to be alright.
for his sake.


what happens to her now ?
well , her wall that once opened up to him.
slowly, starts to builds up.


all she needs at this moment is one of those..
i-will-hug-it-out-till-you-feel-better  kinda hugs.

the cambodians can sure throw one heck of a party :D

HIGHLIGHTS.

-going back and forth from the car gave me one heck of an exercise

-trying to look for your flower than i pinned on retardedly and fell off >< SORRY

-the awesome dessert , three-layered sorbet YUMMM

-the music was amazing and there were some pretty pro dance moves going on

-the little kids who i couldn't stop adoring :)

-the friendly people ^^

-the father and daughter dance and the groom and bride dance , super cute!

FINALLY , the speeches .

they were so beautiful or known as the BEE'S KNEES , CAT'S PAJAMAS, ANTS PANTS ;)

it perfectly emphasised their love for God 

and the much loved support from their family

and with that, God provides abundantly with blessings.

to make it less generic, i'll just leave with my own words..

may you live your life according to god's plan 

and live prosperously through his guidance.

you don't have the right to judge me.

...because sometimes people do actually feel that way.

sometimes your life feels like it's caving in on you.

sometimes people really do feel like they don't want

to exist, like they want to just curl up in a ball, and

go into that place between life and death, saying "i

don't want to exist" isn't saying "i want to go die".

it's saying "i wish that, for the time being, i could go

somewhere and not have to feel." i don't think there's

anything wrong with that and if you don't know how

it feels to feel this way, then you have 

no place to judge anyone who does. 

ask yourself ..

change it if you aren't.

cause you know what i realised ?

you can't always rely on people, 

who you think are going to be there.

you can't wait for other people to save you, 

sometimes you have to save yourself.

BUT,

there's people out there who can restore your trust back in humanity.

sometimes, all you need is someone there to hug you.

NOTE TO SELF:

Forget things that stupid people have said and done to you.

Focus on the people who truly love and care for you.

Carry on with what you enjoy doing and do it with

 the extra knowledge that you and your heart are good.

i feel like disney movies 
are like the most nostalgic thing ever.
i've never heard of anyone who's never seen a disney movie .
it's like the epitome of childhood memories .

my top five old-school fave disney films:
